FLORIDA - NASA unveiled a new application for Android that has a lot of content and enables users 'peek' atmosphere of outer space through streaming impressions.
Following the ending era of NASA's space shuttle Atlantis returned to Earth after, NASA also issued another technology shift on the phones. Some time ago the President of the United States, Barack Obama said that NASA needs to make new breakthroughs in the technology world.
"The plane has done some work to a remarkable experiment to the lowest orbit by making the International Space Station. It is a remarkable achievement. And we are very proud of the job, but now all we need is a new technological breakthrough," said Obama at that time.
Telegraph launched on Friday (22/07/2011), NASA has now released an official application on Android Market Wednesday. This application has features like live video from NASA TV streaming and some archives of the NASA mission.
Is expected users will be integrated with social media that will be made by NASA. Within this application there are also thousands of images, video on demand and an attractive countdown clock.
Even so, this application seems more targeted to people who know a lot about space exploration rather than lovers of technology. NASA insisted that this application is an opportunity to see the beauty of a space program for users not familiar with it, as well as a source of useful information if you are an interested in this subject.
